LEGISLATORS OF THE YEAR

Since 1999 CANEC has honored legislators who have done an outstanding job of supporting charter schools. These are legislators who understand the power of charter schools to improve public education for all California students and families. They have fought those in the educational establishment who oppose charter schools and the accountability and choice charter schools bring to public education.
