Location
and Directions:
The Anaheim Marriott is the site of CANECıs 10th Annual California Charter
Schools Conference. The hotel is located just two blocks from Disneyland,
10 miles from Knottıs Berry Farm, 17 miles from Newport Beach, and 35
miles from Universal Studios. The hotel is approximately 45 minutes from
downtown Los Angeles.
Directions from Area Airports:
* Orange County/John Wayne (SNA) - SNA (15 mi SE) Take 55N to 5N, exit
Katella, and turn left. Go to Harbor Blvd, turn left. Turn right on Convention
Way. Hotel is on left side.
* Los Angeles (LAX) - LAX (35 mi NW) Take 405S to Garden Grove Fwy East,
exit on Harbor North. Turn left on Convention Way.
* Long Beach (LGB) - LGB (20 mi N) Take 405S to 22 E, exit on Harbor North.
Turn right on Harbor and left on Convention Way.

Room Reservations:
Hotel reservations for the CANEC Conference may be made by calling Marriott
Reservations at 800-228-9290. Please specifically request reservations
at the Anaheim Marriott, at the established group rate designated for
"California Network of Education" or CANEC.
Rates:
The CANEC rate is $139 per night for a single or double room. The CANEC
rate for triples is $159 per night and the CANEC rate for quads is $179
per night. All rates are subject to applicable state and local taxes (currently
15%, plus $1.00 per room night California Tourism Act fee) at time of
check in. Rates are only available from March 25 30, 2003.
Parking:
Sufficient parking is available on property for all conference attendees.
The rate is $4 per hour, not to exceed $12 per day. These rates are subject
to change without notice.
Parking Fee Registered Guests:
Guests registered in the hotel may park their cars in the hotel garage
for $12 per day. Valet parking is $18 per day. This rate includes daily
in and out privileges and will be posted directly to each guestıs room
account. These rates are subject to change without notice.
Recreational Activities:
Indoor and outdoor pool, health club, sauna and whirlpools are located
onsite. The hotel is within walking distance to several restaurants. Complimentary
shuttle takes registered guests to and from Disneyland. Tennis courts
and golf courses are a short drive from the hotel.
